I was just wondering if anyone else is on Viibryd & if they are experiencing the same side effects If I miss a day I get a headache & it is worse the next time I take, this happens too if I don't take it around the same time everyday. I also get an upset stomach from time to time. If my timing is off between food & taking it I end up throwing up. My mouth gets very dry & if I take it too late in the day I can't sleep. I've asked my dr about it, she didn't say anything about my headaches or throwing up (probably because it doesn't happen all the time) & for my not sleeping she just said take it earlier.

Yes I take Vibriid but I dont' have the side effects you're talking about. They sounds pretty bad to me. Maybe you should try something else?

Hi sjmd... I am also on Viibryd, and have found that you need to eat right before you atke your dose... It also says on the brochure that it is absorbed properly when you eat with it... As for the headaches, I make sure to take mine the same time everyday (+ or - 30 minutes) in the morning, as I have had the headache, etc. with other anti depressants that I've taken in the past..
So far, I like Viibryd. I was on 40 mg, but reduced to 20mg, as 40mg seemed a bit too much.. Felt like I was "drunk" for a few hours on the larger dose!

Yep I am on it and have felt better since taking it with food.I do get extremely painful headaches if I mess up the timing. I forgot to take it in the morning the other day and took it at night, I felt awful the next day.

I just finished my one month on it and see my doctor today. We will most likely continue it. I haven't noticed much difference except that I do get upset easier! I'm taking 40 mg. I'm also bipolar type 2 with depressive disorder.
