Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
Hospice Care is great for terminal illnesses. You might try discussing with your doctor your fears of what your death might look like or joining support groups related to your particular condition.
Chronic...such as depression. There never has, and never will be assisted suicide. But again, you can talk to your doctor because there are treatments.
If you commit suicide, I can guarantee there will be people who barely know you that will be affected by your death. And the people who love you; they will NEVER recover from it. Whatever this illness is, you can get through it! One thing that has helped me is to do something nice for someone else without expecting anything in return. I am praying that things get better.
Depending on your illness, have you thought about getting a pet? Unconditional love is amazing. Antidepressants work too; sometimes you have to try a few to find out what works the best.
I hope things get better for you.
