Thank you. It’s hard to keep it together sometimes and I know I gotta be strong for my daughter, it’s just hard when the tears come. She’s sleeping most of the time when I cry so it works out I guess. I don’t know. Just miss my mom terribly and so much I wish I could vent to and ask her about. Especially about my daughter. What makes it harder is my mother died by suicide so I’m even more determined to survive type of deal. It’s just I do get depressed. I’m just relieved and proud of myself that I am not and never have been suicidal. In. Y moms defense though it was her choice I guess. Just with her death and the hurricane and money worries it gets the best of me some days. I lost childhood stuff that I can’t get back that I would have loved to have passed down to my daughter. Just 2017 was a year of loss for me. Also my father who I was estranged to for 4 years decides to acknowledge me after my mom dies. So processing that. So far so good but still somewhat angry at him sometimes because the whole reason we stopped talking was because he divorced my mom 5 years ago. A lot to fucking handle. Excuse my language. Just stressed and letting everything pile on me today and I can’t help it.

I'm sorry to hear of your challenges! I imagine it is extremely difficult at times. I'm relieved to know that you have loved ones surrounding you. What a gift our family members and friends are to us when we are in need of encouragement and support. Congratulations on the birth of your daughter! Seems like yesterday that my daughter was an infant. She is now twenty-two! Where does the time go? This life is full of hills and valleys and we all go through them, unfortunately! Focus on the things that give you hope and happiness such as your family, hobbies and volunteering. Giving back does much for a sad, stressed and rattled heart! If you feel that your marriage isn't where you'd like it to be, maybe a marriage counselor would give you some help. We can get stuck in daily routines and sometimes we need to remind ourselves why we fell in love with our spouse. What was it that drew you in?Meditate and reflect on those basic relational principals. I get it! I've been married twenty-four years and it has been tough at times. I'm sorry for the loss of your mother. My deepest sympathies! If you feel completely overwhelmed, please reach out for some help.
