I don't know if someone already posted this but my guess is someone has already. I just need to say i HATE valentines day. I have never had a valentine or a girlfriend before. So this day reminds me of loneliness and depression.
i NEVER got one ever! i was soo depressed about it all the other girls got at least one rose but not me. i even thought i would be happy to get one off a secret admirer.
one day my mum saw how upset i was cos no one liked me enough to get me a rose, and so she gave me a card and a present.
the card said something along the lines of...
valentines day doesnt have to be just for boyfriends and girlfriends, its for people that you love and i love you with all my heart.
so now when v'day comes around i think about the people that i love like my family and friends, and my bf if i have one at that moment in the year.
to me its just a day to let people know i care. without all the commercial bullshit, because to me that isnt real. i hope i could help you to see v'day from a different perspective, cos the love is there you just need to see it from a different angle.
