Things are going pretty well, this time change has me up at 3 in the am which is good cause I get alone time. I still feel down but I have family around to help take mind off things. I am so blessed to have them. I wonder why I think of killing myself when I have so much going for me. I hate those feelings. My parents are watching me like a hawk I have to smile and be
happy" not to cause them any worry. I just wish I could feel happy and merry and enjoy the time. my mind has to be retrained to be happy and get out of this blackhole.I thank god for this group to get my thoughts out. Sorry if rambling I just am having racy thoughts and am trying to make sense of he=w I feel.

How is that rug coming along Cheryl?

I like the alone time in the early morning too, although I live alone. I write in my journal because there is no one to talk to. I usually read some scripture, make a list of things to do and before I start getting ready for work I pray for guidance through the day.


I can understand just wanting to feel happy.

This too will pass. Hang in there!!

My rug is done, I am in vegas giving money to the casinos now :). I forgot my journel at home. I miss it. I am trying to find things to do alone here so I have some space. I feel edgy around a lot of people. I am blessed to have family that love me. I just wish I felt worthy of the love. hugs to you.

I learned the hard way, Cheryl, you cannot escape in the casinos. It nearly ruined me, and everything I tried to run away from was still there when I decided to go home.

oh Vegas...you have to go to the Gold and Silver Pawn Shop where the History Channel show Pawn Stars if filmed....If I get to Vegas ever I will be sure to stop into their store too....I love that show...they are a rich bunch of clowns....LOL but they buy some neat items...I just have nothing much to consider selling them....it holds too much emotional value the things that Mom has that would bring money in sale to them and I feel they are cheap in buying stuff....they need to make money I know that but my stuff going out is worth more than Pawn Shop values...

you cannot escape the love of your family :D You don't have to earn it, you get it for free.

I love my kids more than anything, and would even if they were axe murderers. I wouldn't understand something like that but I'd still love them. You cannot remove a mother's love. It's hard-wired into the machine.

Cheryl, depression and suicidal thoughts can be so baffling when we have familt that loves us. I understand. I go through the same thing in my mind.

I know exactly the black hole you are talking about! My life was total hell! I'm lucky to have family around too! I live on the same block as my parents. I have my own home, but fortunate enough to be able to get out of this lonely house! I have learned when I isolate, I get more down! I have also made myself start getting up and doing things, don't get me wrong some days not so much! Sometimes I still worry about getting stuck back in that black hole! To break the depression, I went to an Intensive Outpatient program for depression through a local hospital for depression. They may not cure you, but they can give you tools to help yourself. Ted

You are absolutely right about this place (DS) it has helped me more than anything, now that I have became active instead of just reading. You will find your way back 1 day at a time. Never give up! (((HUGS)))
