So, a while back I was put on a new medication called Viibryd. I don't feel like it worked for me. It made me worse. I told my doctor about how I was feeling, but he told me it was impossible. I told him I was unable to eat for days, having anxiety attacks multiple times a day, my depression felt worse and like I couldn't get out of bed. I just felt all over more unstable. I almost considered going to the hospital. All he said was "that's impossible. Viibryd doesn't do that."
Has anyone else had that happen? My doctor makes me feel like I'm going crazy and making this stuff up. I honestly felt horrible when I was taking it. My family was begging me to stop taking it. They even noticed the difference. But my doctor just won't believe me!
I am on a new medication now and I feel great. I'm on Effexor and it doesn't cause any side effects for me. I was just curious because I was going through my old medication and saw the Viibryd and wondered how other people's experience with it was.

Richard, I actually see a psychiatrist. That is the doctor that I'm going to. I should have been a bit more specific. But you're completely right. I don't know what my psychiatrist's excuse is.

Doctors .. pretty much .. know what they are talking about.
Doesn't matter, .. you are no longer on it ... and apparently doing better.
