Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
I don't have answers here. One thing I do know is that it's very important of how you feel. I understand that your let-down feeling is quite common after such an attempt. I'm thinking you suffered pain before your attempt and now you still have lots of pain???
It's good that you have an appointment set, hopefully with a good professional, and that you're reaching out. I know that Tues may seem like forever. Maybe if you let the ones around you know how you feel, you can get an appointment sooner?
As I respond here, this thread will be bumped up for someone else to see who may have a better response than I.
others will have some kind of advice that will help you.
I don't understand why, if you'd been to your ER after attempting they didn't admit you.
I can only guess that in your country, at your age, you are still considered a "minor" and as such, your parents will be involved.
More meds would not necessarily be the best thing at this point.
Whatever brought you to this point needs to be addressed by a professional.
I'm guessing you weren't given much in the way of meds because of your attempt, again, that's just a guess on my part.
Tues. must seem light years away, try to take things just 5 min. at a time if that's all you can handle. Trying to tackle everything at once won't help, that much I do know.
I hope you will continue to reach out here and share more of what is going on so others can support you in better ways.
Peace......
Hope ur Tuesday appt goes well.
