Does anyone here, take this medication?...

And if you do how long have you been taking it?...

...what happens if you take it for a while, and then stop or forget to take it?

...is it habit forming?

I am new to taking it to help with sleep. For me, I can't say it's working as my pattern remains the same. Also, I get a bit of a "hangover" and dizzy in the morning.

I was taking 50mg.

Trazodone is a tricky one. I tried it back in the day; it was only a week before the circus music started playing and I dropped it like a bad habit. Works for some, others not, but the one thing that is common to hear is be careful with it.

My understanding of trazadone is that before the current choices of SSRI's is was used to treat depression. Now, it's mainly used in conjunction with SSRI's in lower doses.

One big side effect of Trazodone is congestion. Everyone I have talked to that takes it says they have had problems with that.

Anyway maybe try Ambian or Lunesta for sleep. I never had any luck with Trazadone for sleep , because i couldnt breath. :(
