you will see the full story. My kids came home from school with posters and today they woke up to the news that her body had been found... gutting

She has expressed wanting to kill herself at the age of 10, the stress level was very high then. Family breakup, pending divorce.
We are opening up our communication more and more. She just came home from school and apologized...for crying today in school. Apparently she was writing in her journal and started to write about her weekend and that her dog had died.
I let her know that, that was a good thing.
To think.. a family argument set off that young girl to kill herself. How tragic for everyone.
He knew he had it but never got help for it. Devestated my family.
Again, my heart goes out to the family.
It is a truth, your family WILL NEVER completely get over your death. There will always be a mix of pain, guilt and anger shading the love they feel for you.
You also have no idea what effect you may have on friends and siblings.
My nephew, Brian, hung himself on Christmas day ten years ago this year. Five years later his younger half brother flew to Hawaii, checked into the same hotel room and hung himself in the same closet as Brian did, also on Christmas day. God only knows how long he'd been planning that but it had to have taken a huge amount of anger and pain on his part after going through it all when Brian died.
