Uhmmm..just a question. Why would someone who tried to exit this world want to dredge up reminders of it? And...is it beneficial to others who are feeling this way to read about how it was attempted????? Just my opinion, but I don't think posting this kind of information to be very therapeutic.

the first attempt was at 18, I took lotsa pills and yes I told my ex-boyfriend at the time. that attempt was for attention..took me a long time to admit it, but when i attempted it that time i did feel like i wanted to die but I didnt want to, if that makes sense. I mostly wanted attention and someone to make the pain stop. The 2nd attempt, was nothin like the first..I started the evening fine that night, one moment I was doin my job the next I was standin in the bathroom with a sliced wrist and trying to end it all...I had no clue at that time what I had done, in fact I had even written a 7 page note to my husband that i didnt even remember writing. The 2nd attempt not only scared me cuz, I was at apoint in my life I didnt want to hurt myself even if I wanted to cuz I had my first child. I was against suicide, but at sometime that night the depression took over and like i said one minute workin the next minute Im standin in bathroom w/blood thinkin what have I done..The good news is..that was my last attempt. i got help that night, I was saved and helped by people that cared and I am forever grateful for that. I still hurt, and bipolar never goes away, but I have hope and Ive learned so much a long the way. I dont know if this is what u want or if it helps in anyway, or I may have just rambled for nothing, but thats my reply

they say if you don't know what is wrong how can you fix it....so you just keep doing it untill someone or something can snap you out of it....no one has to reply to this it is up to you....

No hun, I have never been in that situation , but I sympathize with those who feel this way.

I told no one when I attempted but my wife found out what I did and called the paramedics
