Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
the answer, for me, lies in a good balance of things.
you need to form a game-plan for dealing with depression. you need to develop a strong support system, whether it be a support group, family, friends. you might need some form of therapy. you also might need some form of medication. you also might need extra stuff like excersise, reading, walking, meditation, accupuncture, yoga, religious actiivities
1- game plan
2-support systme
3-doctors
4-meds
5-stuff that makes you feel good
then the chores will happen
motivation might come if you give yourself a kickstart
of all of your chores, which one makes you the happiest to do and to compelte?
you will enjoy it, enjoy making it, and feel good about yourself
tomorrow you can try the next chore that you like second best.
maybe laundry?
how about going for a walk? get some clean, fresh air into your lungs, blood moving into and out of your muscles and endorphines rushing to make you feel great...
