This past weekend, someone called me up and wanted me to go somewhere with them. She was always sort of pushy, but it kind of escalated. I tend to have a problem with aggressive personalities. When we returned home, she kept going in circles over a situation that she didn't understand. I just kept trying to explain it to her, but she just got worse. It was like she was arguing with me. She was, actually. It was exhausting. Most of the evening went this way.

The following weekend, she called again. She had lent me twenty dollars because she forgot (ignored) my request to go to an ATM. She then really wanted it back, so she arranged to get together again and go hiking. I asked her how steep was the grade, because I've had two surgeries on my knee. That's when I really got mad, because she then said, in an accusing way, "Well you've done it before." I was NOT happy. I have gotten hurt and injured a couple of times while out, and won't be forced to do something I can't do (this is someone who just recovered from a heart attack). She then told me that this (my knee situation) was a problem for our future hiking plans.

She wanted me to then make a commitment-right then-as to what I was doing over the summer. I couldn't. There is a chance that my cousin will be coming in. She wouldn't drop it. I was by now, irate. Because there is no way that I will drop or change my plans to family because she wants something-right then.

I decided that I don't want to do things with her on a one-on-one basis anymore. She is my friend's cousin. I am not related to her and I won't put up with this shit.
