Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.


was pay what you can afford for me. They didn't talk religion. Look for
non profit groups, state and county offices for programs. Ask librarian.
Hopefully you will find someone that is free or pay what you can afford.
You could try church or charities to refer you as suggested above.
I’m in the UK, we can get free therapy here on the NHS but it’s really limited. For a first referral, usually 6 sessions and usually cbt, which didn’t work for me. Plus there’s a waiting list of weeks.
I think the saying “you get what you pay for” May well apply here.
