hi i was wandering who has heard of the semicolon project and who has gotten the tattoo i am thinking about doing it to remind myself to not give in to my depresaion and keep living.

I was just reading up on that and I am also thinking of getting the tattoo. I think it is a great idea. For me it will not only be a reminder that my story isn't over yet but it will remind me of how far I have come. I have tried to commit suicide before and I pray things are never that bad again. I think that it could possibly be very inspirational to you or anyone dealing with depression or any type of emotional illness. It would be there as a visible reminder of one's strength.

BTW, I really don't like tattoos and this is not me urging anybody to get one. But I do like the metaphor they use about the semicolon.
