One day at the Vet's office, a Cocker Spaniel, a Irish Setter, and a Poodle are awaiting their turn. The Poodle turns to the Spaniel and asks what he's in for.
The Spaniel replies, "Oh, I'm in trouble, I think. My Master took me with him and the kids on a long weekend drive and we were having so much fun in the back seat. The kids and I were playing and barking and nipping - all in fun, honest! Well, I gotta little bit excited and I... sorta peed all over the back seat of his brand new Audi."
"Ooooh! But why are you here?", asked the Poodle.
"I think they're gonna put me down."
Poodle cringes and shakes, then he turns over to the Setter and asks why he's at the Vet's.
The Setter hangs his head and says, "Oh, I'm trouble, too! You see, my Master left me behind all weekend. Some friend was supposed to come by and walk me, but he never showed. I held it and I held it as long as I could, but then I... sorta peed all over my Master's antique Persian rug. "
"Ooooh! But why are you here?", asked the Poodle.
"I think they're gonna put me down."
The Poodle cringes at that thought and shakes. The Setter asks him why he's here at the Vet's.
The poodle smiled and said, "Well... my Mistress, when she gives me a bath in the tub, she climbs in after and showers, too. Yesterday, she dropped the soap and... well humans can look pretty good after a long dry spell, So we did it there in the shower."
The Setter and the Spaniel were wide-eyed and open-mouthed. "Wow! Doggy style!"
Then the Spaniel asked, "Yeah, but why are you here?"
The poodle said, "A pedicure."
