Today was started out very difficult for me because I new I needed to talk to the mother of the molested child. I was worried about them possibly blaming me but she put my mind at ease and she told me that the child is OK. I also found out that the skum was only going to be in prison for a year. I still haven't found peace with it. They belled him out after what he had done. They knew about this for a while and didn't tell me because he was at home waiting for the court date. I guess they new he would be dead if I had found out and I would be in prison.. I will pray every day for him to realize that if he comes around me it will be like him committing suicide. I will keep my distance from that whole side of that family. These are people that played a big part of losing custody of my child. These people are a big reason why I became mentally unstable before my wife died. I know some of you probably Know who I am because I didn't hide my face and you have probably read my posts. You may not know who I am talking about but just think about the dumbest fat fuck in that family and that is the molester. I am ashamed and in 3 days time I will say how this person I related to me If I do not get a response. 3 days from that I will post his name so all will know If I do not hear from you.

Not quite sure why you should be ashamed of this person, you did nothing, it was all on them. You can't nor should you take responsibility for the things those in your family do unless you have personally vouched for the person. In this case i doubt you said anything directly vouching that the perosn is harmless or anything like that. As for the name being posted in a more public forum, I wouldn't do that. There are a few reasons for saying that, first being the persons saftey. They may be someone who needs to be locked away for a long time but it still puts them in harms way. The second reason is that I think there are some pretty nasty legal complications that can arise from openly and publicly posting the name without the persons express consent and could get you into trouble which i would hate to see. If you want to list the relation that is fine, but i wouldn't post the persons name. I am glad the child in question is okay though. I am sure there is damage done, but hopefully they will be able to overcome it.

I new something was wrong I just couldn't imagine that this could happen. I noticed that the last time I saw her she was reluctant to even hug me. She used to run to her Uncle Drew and give me the biggest hug and I would just melt. I rarely get the chance to see them but she has a brother and sister that love me to death and they still give those big hugs, I just didn't know why she was so stand offish because she was the 1 that would give me the biggest hug. It really hurt finding out this because I know she will never have that trust with me ever again. I lost a connection I had with her because of this sorry bastard. It is not illegal to post the truth. You can only be arrested for slander(an untruth). I also found out that he will not have to register on the sex offenders list. If you think hard enough you can figure out why

Written is Libel, spoken is Slander. As well i agree you have to be careful, because if some harm comes to him, because of you posting his name it might fall back on you.

These people are sneaky they may have even friended me here. I have a close relationship with a lot of you and I know u are not the people in question. I know because of your posts and feelings shared. I am probably just being paranoid but it is at the back of my mind at all times.
These people are liars and manipulaters and I will not hide who I am. I am pretty sure that some people that post here recognize me and if you do don't say anything to these people.

Truth is a fantastic defense against slander and liable, but depending on what you say or write you can be put in the position of having to PROVE that what you said/wrote IS true.

You can help that child recover by letting her set the terms for how she interacts with you. If she wants to give you a hug, let her. But also let her be the one to break it off.

Give her all the time in the world. Who knows, 20 years from now she may tell you that you were a huge help in letting her trust again!
