Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
I'm speaking from Brazil. People do amazing work at these places and you would study life's real purposes.
The spiritism changed my life and I found the answers that were missing. I only I could make you see.
Anyway, I just found out my favorite book is available in English, on this website http://www.sgny.org/catalog/divaldo-franco/the-joanna-de-angelis-collection/self-discovery-an-inner-search/
If you want to contact me, feel free to do so, I'd be glad to help!
I was using the term "regular" semi-facetiously. I didn't want to use the word "normal" because I've long since decided that, as bellabuck says, I'm probably as normal as the next person, but I still see a type of division between myself (and my thoughts) and other people -- I guess that's a hallmark of depression, though. It's hard to let go of.
I was able to talk with a therapist about it on and off years ago. I'm not feeling a great need to do so now, but if I ever do, I think I have someone in mind that I might be able to broach the subject with, so that's good.
Thanks again for your responses. The main reason I came to this site in the first place, years ago, is because it always helps to know that others are dealing with similar issues!
