Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
I am going to post the number for the National Domestic Abuse Hotline and you can call them and talk to them. Your call is totally confidential and you don't even have to give your name. They will help you with resources in your area for you to get help. Please reach out for help and please be safe. (((HUGS)))
The National Domestic Violence Hotline 1-800-799-7233
They are there 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and 365 days a year.
You are not alone. You matter and nobody has the right to abuse you. Please take care.
I also so hope you follow DaisyGirl's advice and call the National Domestic Violence Hotline 1-800-799-7233. Men who abuse women often like to socially isolate them so that they feel they have no one else to turn to and they lose confidence in themselves. There are shelters, and counselors who will be real friends. They can help you get back on your feet and to believe in yourself again. Not to in any way belittle all your symptoms, but I wouldn't be surprised if some of them lessened if you got away from this abusive man.Perhaps he is the reason you do not respond better to treatment.
I will pray for you.
Sometimes we need to force ourselves to get up and get active. For your partner to physically force you up is very sad.
Gentle hugs
