Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
It's not so bad that you tried to use a list (pat on the back!) What the matter may be or a good reason for this thing is that women most often try to be in two places at the same time. I know that I do. I have my own "rub salt in the wounds" days. I will leave you with a quote, a wise one too:
"The things we fear (pain, failure, disgrace, rejection, limitations) are ultimately some of our finest teachers, educating us in compassion, grace, wisdom, and understanding." ~Patsy Clairmont~
Please don't brittle away and break too easily. You are human and stable as long as you don't refuse to keep trying. I admire your effort.
Great day to you!
Remiah, thanks for the quote, it’s so true as long as you keep your mind open to it.
And yeah, unfortunately we can’t be in two places at the same time, no matter how hard we try. I think I need to lower my expectations of what I think I “should” be able to do in one day, maybe that way I can take anything past that as a bonus. I’m big on, “if there’s a will, there is a way.” I may not find it on my first, second or third try, but I also have persistence down in spades, (that God put in the back of my head), even when I feel broken, too tired to deal with anything and I want to call it quits.
Thanks for all your kind words. They mean a lot .
