do not take the permanent solution to temporary thinking....you will get better to enjoy life for sure.....hugs 811 is an USA entire country way to get help with suicidal thoughts....

i'm so sorry you feel that way but many people here care. Many people feel seriously depressed and many have succeeded later. Please try to get help, check into a hospital and you'll find qualified, knowledgeable people can help.

Then perhaps you can post about the challenges you had and people can help solve them or improve your life.

1) dont see yourself as a failure we all have difficult times in our lives. Thomas edison once said " i havent failed 10,000 times i habe found 10,000 ways not to do something." Poorly paraphrased sorry.

2) i have been where you are. I know you probably dont believe me but i have tried to kill myself many times. I am only here by the grace, love, and mercy of Jesus.

Killing yourself is not the answer. You are not a mistake either.

So your value was pre ordained. You are very loved by the lord of lords and king of kings.

He values you. I know this as he showed me how much he loves all of us.

An accident resulted in spinal injury at the base of my neck with paralysis from there down, spasticity (muscle contractions and spasms) and double incontinence. I live alone and have been confined to one room for the past 10 years, except to a few visits to hospital and occasional visits to other rooms on the ground floor of my home. So much of my life has been taken away: at least three quarters of what I used to do are now impossible, and the others are difficult. My hands are badly affected. I am typing this with two thumb nails. I have often doubted whether to scraps of life left to me are worth the pain and misery which come with them: but being dead doesn't sound much fun ... so I am still here.

Barry, you are a tremendous inspiration, and I admire your strength.

The World Chess Championship is going on now, have you ever considered playing chess. A friend with cerebral palsy won a section of the world's disabled championship.

I experience the same wish. I somehow just am incapable of making it come to pass, despite my isolation not going away. I wish for you to find something that causes your outlook to change :-)

Barry, hang in there. One day at a time. Someone needs to hear your story of overcoming this tremendous situation you're dealing with.
