Ok so apparently all day long someone has been trying to hack my Facebook account ah!!! I showed the messages to my brother the computer genius and he says they are legit. They say sorry that you are having trouble logging on...But I haven't had trouble remembering my password once so wtf? I was told that if someone where to get into my facebook they could easily hijack my gmail too...Is this true? I'm freaking out here. First I'm fired from my job...Then dumped by my bf...and now someone is trying to hack me? If they get my gmail I'm screwed. I do my online banking and everything from it :o I changed my gmail password to something ridiculously long...Do you think that is enough? Also my ex has a account on here, and when he dumped me I deleted him, is it easy for someone to hack dailystrenght????

I'm no computer expert, but I was hacked before on AOL. Somebody sending out financial scams on my screen-name. Mortgage scams. I don't know how it happened, but suspected opening unfamiliar e-mail???
Could it be someone once trusted? IDK...take no chances on privacy.
Flick whomever it is off like a mosquito, your eye was quick enough to catch by shutting the lash.
Shut 'em down.
Wonder who could soooo interested in what you've written privately..
1) Make them moderately long, at least 6 or 7 characters.
2) Include both upper and lower case letters.
3) Include numbers.
4) Include special symbols if allowed!
5) Avoid obvious things like your name, birthday, phone number, address, pet names, etc.
Hope you get it sorted out.
Changing your password should block the hack of any of your accounts.
Of course, never let ANYONE know any of your passwords.
