Roxie
you understand this is a cycle or pattern. one day you may decide to stop it happening. your expectations about how you should be treated are spot on. hold onto that. when he tried to divert from the subject of the argument you also held strong. and like a child abused you further when he realised he wasn't getting his way.
you are now in the next phase. he is calling. maybe he's saying sorry. or call until you cave in. and want everything back to 'normal'. i call this hoovering ... sucking up.
you are NOT crazy. please DON'T doubt yourself sweetheart. trust your gut feeling. it's reading red flags. it is NOT how you should treat someone. this is what i call 'crazy making'. he twists everything to make you feel crazy. i feel for you.
this is happening every couple months. eventually it will be a monthly occurrence. how crazy will you feel when it hits like a tornado on a weekly basis?
roxie is so right. ask yourself what do you want?
whatever you do. stay strong. and true to yourself :)
