Well I felt slammed yesterday by events and today is not any better. I found out yesterday that I have to reapply for my unemployment benefits and I think it is because the I have reached the magic 26 week mark where unemployment ends. I didn't see anything about a final decision by Congress to extend them so I may be out of luck.
Today I needed to call the unemployment office, the CitiMortgage people and the Fannie Mae people and ask questions to try and get some answers about the loss of unemployment and I'm still trying to find a solution to stopping the foreclosure on my house.
Slept several times today and right this minute I feel better from the sleep but I know that I still have all this shit coming down on me and I have to pretend nothing is wrong because my son would get frightened if he found out about the foreclosure stuff and it might trigger an episode of hallucinations and other psychotic behaviors that I don't want to deal with. On top of everything else we woke up to about 5 new inches of snow this morning. Its okay because we are used to snow but it is supposed to be below freezing all week and then snow again on Saturday so by Sunday or Monday we may have a full foot of snow which is difficult even tho the city and population are used to snow is problematic. It is just a bitch living in my shoes in my house this week.
