I see commercials for dating sites on television all the time. Oh e harmony worked for me. i join e harmony costs me 60 bucks a month. what happens i get rejected by girl after girl for months. and every other dating site i try goes the same way. I'm sick of it. i tried dating sites because i thought it be easier to meet girls. i am very shy and unsure of myself what to say to girls. so i thought dating sites are for me. sometimes i say whats the point ill never meet anyone and ill die alone. i am sick of paying money just to be ignored and/ or rejected by girls. i have enough issues with self confidence without being rejected and/or ignored all the time. i am not a bad looking guy. i have a good sense of humor i keep hearing and seeing on girls profiles that they wanna guy with a sense of humor. thats all i got to say for now. i love being apart of this community, i can get stuff off my chest.

OMG, I can totally relate. I recently signed up at one (although it is free-Plenty of Fish) It is hard because I am shy too but stated that on my profile. Not going so good for me either. I totally know how you feel. It took me a long time to understand though that if your not comfortable with yourself you wont be comfortable with a partner. My boyfreind now understands my issues and knows when I am about to be set off. U need to relax and know that dating can be fun and try not to put so much pressure on it. Sometimes you will find someone when u least expect it. Us girls also like to play hard dont be afraid if you dont see a reaction right away.

Like, there are 10 men to every 2 women or something...

You are just as likely to meet someone out in real life....mostly it happens when you STOP looking and/or worrying about it.

May I suggest changing your focus to working on yourself....your confidence and self-esteem. You can not be a good friend/lover to others until you at least like yourself. ((((((hugs))))))

Internet dating sites are a joke! It is like going to Wal Mart, all shapes,sizes,ages,likes/dislikes,so much to choose from and so little time. I have not had alot of luck with it. This is simply an observation.

i should of said this in my first post but i am 23 yrs old and i have never had a girlfriend. i have never even had a kiss with a girl. i feel like a loser that i have never had a girlfriend and i am still a virgin. thats y i put so much pressure on dating. i have heard you will find someone when u least expect. i have been in both boats, in the not looking boat and in the looking boat. neither has had any success for me. i am just unlucky in love i guess

i have so many issues, i seriously cant even imagine forming a relationship just at random with someone at school or work.

i hear girls get the worst, cause of jerk spammers and sex messages. im lucky if i even get a reply, let alone a message. so im not going to pay money... i just use the free sites.
