Call your therapist or your doctor, or the ER nearest you....or a crisis hotline....

Sounds like you need to distract yourself, take a ride, take a walk, take a hot bath, anything other than cuttting and ask your kids to back off a bit while you regain your perspective. (((hugs))) to you and hopefully you can get on in real life too.

I don't cut but my self injury is binge eating when I'm depressed. I'm diabetic so that really is destructive. I do alot of self talking and journaling, sun therapy and medication for my depression. The times the depression has over whelmed me, i have always sought help from any source I could. My therapist and my family have been helpful. BAMAMOM have you talked to your kids about your problem and asked them for help?

i just moved here so my therapist is 600 miles away and going to another hospital is not really an option and my kids think everything has to be their way or its a total all out war going on in the house so theres not much i can do and their father sure as hell doesnt help

Bama, I know where your coming from. I self injure with food. I'm a binge eater and diabetic which can be lethal. My depression triggers my binge eating. Are your children aware of your problem? If NOT... WHY NOT? why don't you try asking them for their help. Maybe involving them might help them give you a break. Just a thought.
