Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
Lots of people are bipolar or depressive and don't realize it.
sorry about this, sometimes treating cruelty with kindness is a way to deal with it. Hopefully you have some sort of outlet to let off steam.
peace
in my faimly no one believes in mental disorders and thats why im the odd ball in the fam, i dont feel like i fit it
Hope you feel better. (((hugs)))
You shared he doesn't take you to therapy, do you think you can confide in some one like Anna has said or when you get back to school talk with a schoolcounselor and see if she can set up some help for you and with her recamondation to get therapy then your dad/family would have to comply...I would think, they are hard on parents when they are not getting the professional help they need.
I hope you can get help or someone can mandate it.
Dont give up, theres someone out there to help you.
Hugs,Lori
