Medical bills...oohhh...
Seems to me the troubles are finances. Finances ARE a bitch. No matter how hard both of you work, you'll never pay that shit off. Your husband is reacting appropriately, in frustration.
Looked into a debt reduction program? Bankruptcy? Other options? Plenty of attorneys specialize in that.
Hang in there, just breath and I do give a shit about you. You sound like an awesome person, you just have some hard times right now.
It will be okay, just keep a good head on your shoulders.
Money seems to be a root of problems for everyone so dont feel alone. You're not =)
But I do agree with koolman, have you tried to contact the companies in which you owe money and try to work out some type of plan on paying them back. I used to work for a financial institution and have seen the worst of situations turned around and it was all by communication with the companies. Bankruptcy is often seen as that "B' word, but there are different bankruptcy's and not all of them are that bad. There are attorneys out there that will give you a free consultation to talk about your options.
Good luck and stay strong!
Ugh, now I got to go to the dungeon known as work. I can only hope I don't explode or have to deal with more bullshit from management and coworkers. I get to close with someone who is never on the deli line as she is either shopping during work hours, in the bathroom, or just standing there with her arms crossed complaining.
I file all the bills into paid and unpaid sections and sit down and make sure that everything has aplan.
So I can understand how frustrating it is to be told someone else is dealing with it and then find out that they're not

I goddamned knew it. Hubby had to go to work today and it is very unlikely that we can't get a car today which means more work for me. He is getting very upset and stressed out whenever I mention giving my two weeks notice. I have DDD and DJD of the lumbar and cervical spine, neropathy and osteoarthritis of the cervical spine, problems with chronic vertigo, endometriosis and panic disorder combined with being treated like shit and taken advantage of at work and I STILL have to work 9 hour shifts.
Here is the deal. I need to work until we get a car according to hubby. The car needs to be in my name as he is in financial trouble and the car may be reposessed if it is in his name. I sure as hell can't get a car loan as I make $12,000 a year and have shit credit. Only option is to buy a cheap used vehicle which we should have no problem paying in full as we have enough money in the bank to do so. So, why does that involve me having to still be employed?
I am in agony and can not mentally or physically take this job anymore. Today is our only chance to go out and look for a car.
Also in the world of work, turns out my shithead employer is taking out double the amount he should for insurance. It should be a monthly fee, so why is it being taken out with every paycheck? I'm going to the union and seriously considering filing a complaint with the insurance comissioner. I'm also going to call Aetna right this second.
Subtract that amount from your take home pay, and this will tell you what you can afford for a car, and whether or not you can afford to quit your job.
I hope that you are able to relax some over the next couple of days
Thinking of you and here if you need to talk
xx
I don't think this is a reason to kill yourself. I hope you did not mean it. Just think you can put in your notice and not have to work, plus have a new car. Maybe you can take over paying the bills now.
Good luck to you and I am sorry you were so upset. I hope things get better for you once you can quit that job that is driving you nuts. If he doesn't like the way the house looks...tell him to clean it himself.
