Having an "off" day. Had a dream about the man that i thought i would finally be happy for eternity with. I was so happy in the dream. He wanted "me" again. Things were "finally" going to work out for us. He was done with his ex-wife/current girlfriend. THEN, i woke up and reality hit me. We havent talked since the end of August. We were best friends with a great benefit package. Now, nothing.
When i left for work this morning, i saw someone that looked just like him setting up utility signs along the road. (His new job has him do things like that). Now i cant get him off my mind and im just short of tears. I miss him something terrible, even if he was a jerk to me, lying to me about him and her and telling her that him and i were never together. UGH
I dont want to be with any other man but him and its got me so damned depressed at times. I have nothing to look forward to. When people ask me to do things, i find ways to turn them down so i can stay by myself and dont bring anyone else down. My therapist said that im doing much better than i was. Its just these random days that pull me back down and it hurts.

Im at the point where i could care less about males. They have all ended up being the same. Even a couple of guys i have known for years only want sex and not to be seen with me in public. Im so over it. I hoped that this guy would have been different. We worked together for 5.5 years and had a relationship for 3 of them. Just sick about it all. My walls are up pretty high now.
