Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

And my extension was through the school, not the prof. So it doesn't matter what I do. She will post my grade tomorrow.
Just saying!
Um.... I guess I've heard of people having extensions due to ill health???
I guess it just comes down to acceptance, ill health deprives many people of many things, it's not very nice I know, but as the government therapist wrote to me "I have to accept my limitations".
Why not find employment or activities you enjoy to pass your life doing? Why put yourself in scenarios where the demands are great. They tell me in dbt that in depression you've got to face what your avoiding... Well why pursue things which give you a huge list of things to avoid?
I don't know. Just a few ideas. Really very sorry to hear you didn't complete what you wanted to complete, I'm pretty sure that there are extensions for ill health so please do explore that before you abandon all hope
I know schools have a number of resources from counselling to help with note taking and writing assignments. it is time to start using those resources to your full advantage. go to the disabilities office and get help. use this as a learning opportunity. they may even be able to assist in getting you a pass in this course. you can even get extra time for exams and write them in a quiet place with no distractions. I know this because I had to swallow my pride, let go of my ego and get help when I was in school. the resources are top notch and helped a lot.
I already had a 2 week extension and I still didn't get everything done. So yeah.
I found out today that I failed the class, so that sucks. But it is what it is. I think the unknown is what scared me. Now that I know, I can deal with it.
