Im so lonely, scared and very depressed. My depression never gets better. My pdoc has said he thinks Im treatment resistant. So I am going off Cymbalta and he is going to try me on a MAOI, Manerix. I have been on so many antidepressants it is hard to be hopeful. I have no energy, feel tired all the time and feel so hopeless about the future. It is really hard to keep the demons of suicide away. It just seems like it would be so much easier.
I am still on a wait list to get some therapy. I really need therapy because I have no one to talk too at all. And it is hard because Im a single mom on disability and really struggling every month to survive. This past week Ive had to borrow a bunch of money from my 14 year old daughter. When I pay her back it just means Ill be short again for the next month. Ive thought of going bankrupt again, but it just seems so pathetic. I am also dealing with my XH who is still refusing to pay child support and we are ongoing in court.
We just found out the townhouse Ive rented for 12 years are going to be for sale. We are all really upset about it. We dont want to move.
I really feel like I just want to give up.

Have u tried lexapro? It was a miracle drug for me. Cymbalta made me suicidal.
Ive discovered that when everything starts to pile up i just turn into an ostrich. I recently started trying to force myself to focus on one thing at a time. I havent perfected it yet.

I have tried Lexapro. Ive been on probably 15 different SSRIs and SRNIsthat is why hes switching me to a different class of drugs.
You are right about getting outside. I was trying to get out more with the weather nicer, but stopped again. I really need to force myself to get back walking.
I hope that the MAOI is helpful to you. Have you tried combining antidepressants? I'm currently on doxepin, zoloft and zyprexa. For me, it's a good combination. I hope you find something that works for you.
