I was on Cymbalta for a couple years. It wasn't working so well for my depression, so I recently went back to effexor xr, because I was at my best when I was on it. But the last couple weeks, I feel like my anxiety is out of control. I can't even leave my house to get groceries without getting nauseous and shaking. My husband doesn't understand what's wrong. He hasn't ever seen me in a bad place like this. I'm afraid I have agoraphobia starting, and I can't do that. I have a daughter. I have to go places, and be with people, so she can socialise and grow, and nut be like me. I don't know what to do. My doctor is useless. And I live in the country where there aren't many resources for mental health. I just need this to go away.
Whenever you switch to a different drug, and things get much worse,
do you ever suspect the drug? Even if you had no problem with it
before when you used it, is it possible it's effecting you negatively now? Are you willing to drive a bit to a more urban medical center.
That's what I do.
I had no idea how few options there are for anything in rural America.

I am in exactly the same situation as you are. I went off Cymbalta a couple of weeks ago to go back to Prozac which is the best I had felt on. But lately my anxiety is through the roof. I can't get out of the house without feeling like I am going into panic mode. I wonder if there is something to do with the withdrawal from Cymbalta?
