Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
I am proud of you. You see things VERY well.
You are a strong person. It's always the first steps that are the hardest . . . think of all the people that never make it that far! I'll be thinking of you.
You guys have played a pivotal role in my slowly coming to terms with the fact that I am not OK, and I need you to know that.
I also like how you when you make a decision you aren't afraid of accountability and of sharing your goals.
I hope you get everything that you need out of the counseling.
You're not OK.
I'm not OK.
But that's OK.
:-)
I am here for you all the way Sboom.

I'm actually afraid.
I'm afraid that I'll chicken out and not go.
I'm afraid that if I do go, I will, just like the other times, be too ashamed to tell them one of the most vital parts of my story.
I'm afraid that if I do tell them, they'll think I just want attention. I'm afraid they'll tell me I'm just seeing it wrong and it should n't bother me the way it does.
I'm afraid they won't take me seriously.
I'm afraid they'll think I'm doing this to myself.
It's nauseating for me to even think about it.

that might explain things a little better.
or just muddle them more.
REALIZATIONS are usually very good things.
Hugs and best of luck, SBoom!
