I m 49 and I have MDD (Major Depressive Disorder), Purely Obsession OCD, and Tourettes. I also have a serious physical illness. I own my own home and it is to much for me. I have 1 and 1/2 acres of property and a 3200 sq. ft. Home. I am totally overwhelmed with the maintenance and my mentally ill life! I would rather have a little house on a postage stamp piece of property, or an apartment. I live alone in a 3200 sq. ft. house. I am totally overwhelmed! When I got sick, my wife and 2 step kids and my wife. divorced me. I can't keep up anymore! I want to sell my house, so I can live again. I have a great neighbor who is helping me with the outside maintenance of my house. My house is entirely too much for me to keep up with myself. I want to sell it, my elderly parents don't want me to leave. They make it seem like I'm lucky to have the house I'm in. They are becoming mentally ill and want me to stick around. I am wasting so much money on this house, I want out. They loaned me the money to build it. I pay them a $1000 a month plus enormous utility bills. My parents are very well off and don't want me to leave. I love my house, but I can't keep up! I want to sell it, because it is killing me slowly. They want me to stick around to help them in their elderly years. This house is just wasting my money and I can't keep up. I want a simple life. The utilities alone are $600 a month and I am disabled. Property taxes are $3500 a year. Insurance is $3500 per year. They have forgiven the loan on the house, but it is still too much $$$ for me to keep living in it this way. My furnace went down and cost me $500 to repair it. My hot water heater went out and I had to pay a $750 bill to pay replace it. I want to live, maintenance free and want to rent an apartment. They don't understand how this wants me to live maintenance free and urge me to stay, so I can help them. The house is a 5 bedroom with a 1000 sq. ft. 3 bay garage with an Automotive lift in the center bay. I had to give up working on cars, because of my illnesses. I have MDD and I can't make a living working out of my garage anymore. I have at least over $50,000 in tools. Nobody understands and think I'm so lucky to have what I do. I can'tell keep up anymore! I'm ready to die, than deal with all of this! I am overwhelmed with no way out. I'm ready to off myself! I'm so depressed, and can't find a way out. Please, someone give me some advice!

Talk to a realtor. Keep in mind ,... there is no such thing as the perfect life ... renting only makes the landlord wealthier. I would rather hear you say sell this house, and BUY just what you want. Renting is a bad deal.
