ran out of pills

I was out of Paxil for a few days. Forgot to call the Psychiatrist then forgot to pickup the pills. I started taking them again today. How could just a few days make me so off-kilter. I am crying over sily things and I was a beyotch to my life coach.

I know most doctors will taper you onto your full dose again even on a very short time off it.

I have run out over the weekend before. I don't normally have an anger issue but it was unbearable on just a few days of withdrawals from Fluvoxamine (Luvox).

I know from experience that being without paxil for a few days will mess you up,!! Thank God you got it and can now get stable again

i undrestand how that can really meess you up. i was on 6 different meds. for 5 years. 1 by 1 i ran out of them. the last 2 i did taper off using my bess guess on how. it was one of the most diffacult things i ever had to do. . this was not by choise . I still am suffereng from the withdraws from them and it has been around 1 month. really need to get back on them .but ive no choise.

I hope by the time you read this, you are doing better and have your medication. I take Prozac and it stays in the system for at least 2 weeks after your last dose so I don't panic too much when I forget to take it. I am so bad about remembering my meds!

When you are out of pills, come here. We are an acceptable alternative until more of whatever you are out of comes on line.

Sometimes you can go to Emergancy they can set you up with a few to tie you over.
