just wanted to give you all a heads up that we were hoping to launch Chat and some major Journal upgrades today...but, alas, we found some last minute bugs so it will likely be monday.
we're entering an exciting new phase of development here at DS...lots of cool new stuff coming soon to help improve your experience here.
if you've got any ideas, feel free to respond below. we love getting your suggestions, and your input helps us decide what to do next.

I would like to know if there is anything you can do about people being able to google our user names and being brought right here to DS and able to read what ever we posted or wrote on our page. This is a big consern to those of us that are affraid that our family or friends will invade our privacy, and snoop here. I would cause us big problems at home. I don't know if you can do anything about this, but if you can, could you please take care of this?
very shortly (1-2 weeks), we're launching a new feature that will allow you to limit access to your journal entries to a) you only, b) you and your friends, or c) everyone. using that tool, you can stop google or anyone else from seeing your posts if you don't want to.
we are also thinking about ways to restrict google, but it's a complex issue as it's also the primary way that new folks in need find us. we can talk more about that lately.
i hope you'll find the journal privacy features a good step in that direction.
Seriously though, thank you Doug, that feature would have saved me a lot of trouble the last couple of weeks or so.
You've done such great things here at DS *and* at Yahoo -- between all your endeavors, I'd say that about 70% of my daily life is Doug-influenced...and all for the better!
