Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

I bailed on that guy and never looked back.
My second first time was much different. I was as bluntly honest about me and my life as I could be. That included me telling him that I did not want meds just to have meds. It was much better
I went into the counselling session, because I couldn't study for my terms test. I had taken about five contraceptives to make me sick so that I could say I was sick and get an aegrotat for a public law terms test... luckily I took teh pills because they actually stethoscoped my stomach and it was going haywire. I realised then that I had to do something and so jacked up this counselling session.
I didn't tell the counsellor anything. Consequently I got nothing out of it.
The first real counselling i got wasn't even from a counsellor. it was a hypnotherapist trying to see if I was hypnotisable, to see if he could get me off cigarettes. Well he asked personal questions and it all started to come out. by this time I was about 27. I remember saying something very bitter and resentful, and went away very ashamed of myself and realising I was selfish. But I never shoudl've offloaded at the time, and I have offloaded at wrong and bad times in the intervening years.... So glad I ended up getting counselling because it saved me from offloading at other times and ruining relationships!
