Been on 20mg aday for two weeks some days ok some days not good. How long does it take to start working? also saw things that wern't there. any help is appreciated.

i have been on prozac for a number of years and have not experienced hallucinations of any sort. for me it took about a month to feel the full effects of this ssri.

i would call your pdoc right away about the hallucination...that seems disconcerting...

Didnt jave hallucinations, but became very very angry and hated myself to an extreme. Wasn't a nice experience for me this drug. I won't touch it!... Again, all meds work differently for each indiviual.

Hallucinations are not listed as a side effect of Prozac here:

Phone your doctor, now if you can. Hallucinations can be caused by many things, some physiological and dangerous too.

Please talk to your doctor ASAP.
