I have friends in Japan. Luckily, none are in the prefectures that were hit.

Have they done any projections for where the tsunami/fallout is likely to affect?

i have a friend in san clemente , they aren't expecting any coastal flooding, just higher thatn normal tides and severe undercurrents

The various governments have issued tsunami warnings for a LOT of areas; I guess that by "now" (about 7:45 am PST) most tsunamis have either hit or not. Give a few more hours and it will be time for clean up and rescue/recovery in the impacted areas.

And sighs of relief in other areas.
