to beat a dead horse, from other threads, cause I certainly still feel traumatized: learned one of the members of group for homeless in apt above me is a convicted child molester, with me noting such on a thread----with one gay poster going on, seemingly, what an evil person...I...am for complaining.
Took days for my shut-down brain to realize: many of the homeless in my hillbilly town are homophobic rednecks, with prison muscles. It's hetrosexual nerd me who had to worry about being called a homophobic name by the homeless who hung around the downtown park all day and night.
A lot of people deal in abstracts, and what they see on tv, about the homeless, drug addicts, convicts, welfare familes, even molesters---and, get very irate, with cries of racism, homophobia, etc, when somebody like me makes even a small complaint.
But, I've been around the redneck versions of these types my entire life, with my county even notorious for its multi-generations of 4ever jobless families getting arrested for various stuff, for decades.
I also remember the 1960s, when the teachers in my hometown could slap a student across the face for saying the wrong thing. That, I only realized, a couple years ago, is why I was quite when all kind of bad stuff happened to me in real life.
So, I started speaking up on the internet instead, but I still have to watch out, even on this site, and have to shut down my brain, for fear of being slapped down with some politically correct censorship/banning.

I've calmed down over this, thankfully. been a weird past few days, in my weird redneck ghetto slum.
EVERYBODY judges everybody, including gays and women judging other people----with a mtv whatever episode of at least 10 years ago of a young gay man complaining how some gay bar/restaurant hires staff based on their good looks.
supposedly, according to a # articles, most people are quickly judged by others on how nice their teeth and shoes look or don't look! and again, it was a woman, in some dating article, who said how she judges men on how well--polished their shoes are!
