Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
1. It did not take away any of your good. I shrouds all those things in
its cold cloak.
2. Depression is not something we "have". It is something that we do.
3. Depression is like being in an iron box. We drill holes in it for air
when we come to DS. Later, you will find that the lock is on the in
side.
4. Nearly everyone I know who depresses needed help to find the
latch.
5. What is underneath the depression that is so terrible that you are
using such a terribly lethal defense to hide from it?
6. Medication, Therapy, and Fellowship are the three part whammy
that keeps me in remission.
7. We do not get sick overnight, and we usually don't get well
overnight either.
That is all I have to say about that right now. Peace.
Thx for the feedback
