Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
Before in the olden days on here I saw posts for entertainment that were also supportive and so relevant to helping those of us with depression and self esteem issues. So this is not my idea but I will add a twist. If you are so inclined please first say something nice or positive about yourself. Then please say something nice about the person who posted above you or say something nice about someone you know on here. As an example I will start.
First something positive about me, I am a very compassionate person.
Now I choose someone and for this I choose WallyBear.
WallyBear is a true treasure and a really good source of support to me.
The next person gets to either say something nice about me or another person on here that they know. But first they should say something nice about themselves. I think that little twist makes it more challenging. I look forward to seeing if there are any responses to this. And to all I wish you the best.
