Been feeling better. So here is my advice...something I did. Pick ONE THING you love. Go with it. Let it be that something that keeps you holding on. For me, it's my job, I love it . But even when i have a bad day there, I think, well i can go home and watch a favorite show...preferably Walking Dead! Or, going for a mani/pedi once in awhile...make it the something you look forward to. Everyone has something they love....

I love my job too, however being the season, it's very slow. I am struggling with 0 motivation to do anything. Even when I do things I love, such as horseback riding, I feel 0 joy. Same with my job, even when things were busy this summer, I felt like I was going through the motions.

Awesome advice...definitely know what my 'one' is, but I love the idea of spending time on small joys as well....nails, reading, coffee with friends, it all adds up :)

It really is the best feeling when you put all of your energy into something you love doing. If I notice that I am having a very monotonous week and my mood is on the lower side, I always like to switch things up and experience new things or enjoy old comforts! The Walking Dead is definitely something I look forward to to keep my mind off things!:)

For me, its gardening. On the windswept, bitterly cold Canadian Prairie.

Its 24F outside and I still have tomatoes and parsley. Yes, you heard that right. I still have tomato plants growing in a veggie garden in the middle of my front lawn.

There is a at least foot of snow on the ground, all of it having landed today. Tonight and tomorrow night the temp is expected to drop down to 14F and then it will slowly warm up. Those tomatoes are so well tucked in I fully expect them to survive for the forseeable future, on the windswept , bitterly cold Canadian Prairie.
