"Do all you can to make your dreams come true." Joel Osteen
Friends often betray, fall short.
Jobs don't pay you what you are really worth
Our spouses seemingly don't continue to give us what we really want
I am glad you vented today, keep it up.
Remember all these feelings are shared by many who will not be brave enough to post it here.
Life is what it is so enjoy it. Don't sweat the small stuff....enjoy..... if you feel trapped from circumstances do something small to alleviate it. Not rectify it just make it a little more enjoyable.
Now as far as the incurring more debt, have you ever thought maybe your wife thinks you like the way things are going? Then there is the thought that maybe she has noticed things and is trying to empress or please you. IT is you who must find peace with yourself in order to have peace with another or any one else for that matter.
Hey I used to have bills that only amounted to $850 a month and I was making $1200 to $4,000 a month....every dime was spent...on what? IDK, but when the work was done there was nothing left. Was it troubling YES, did I fix it? NO. But one thing I do realize now is I was so into JUST being the best at my work I missed all the opportunities of the little things. I can see that now but back then I just brushed it off. And, I was kind of in the same boat as you stipulated in referring to your wife, as in the debt. I now know it different.
So don't place blame and don't blame yourself there guy, just enjoy what you have and look for little things, just little things to enjoy about life and things WILL turn around. Though you might not see it happen it will happen.
@WanderingVet - It may a be a perception, but it is the perception is all too real.
@doghunter - We have had many a fight about money. We moved from our first house to another house in another town and were able to pay off most of the debt. She couldn't live there due to stress driving on highway. We had to move back to the original town 9 months later and 2008 happened. Housing market crashed. We borrowed on the second house to cover the payoff and then borrowed 100% to buy our current house.
@pinterestfan - Every option I come up with does not make life better for me. It just makes it worse. So I must stay where I am and continue to get up and push through the day in hopes of one day I may get hit by a bus or shot at by a drive by shooting. Or anything that will take me away from here. Suicide is not my thing though.
Yep I feel 4 ya there guy. 2008 crushed me like a speed freak crushing a cigarette butt. Nothing left but the residual waste that not even a financial forensic expert could find any DNA off of!
just remember it is the little things that make life enjoyable.
America thinks going to Uni is a God-given right. No wonder the nation has such debt. Thank God for my Grandfather being such a successful man, or else I wouldn't have a penny to my name.
