Hi. I am a new member. I have suffered from Major Depressive Disorder a majority of my life. Up until a week ago I had been taking SSRIs with little to no success. My doctor put me on Parnate and Risperdone and I have been on these meds for about a week.
I am spiraling downwards. I can barely get out of bed, get dressed, shower, etc. I have isolated myself from almost everyone I know. It even hurts to breathe.
I am hoping that there is someone reading this who is taking Parnate or a MAOI. When did you begin to notice a difference?

I took Geodon and had to stop by the second day. Didn't work at al. It was like being heavily drugged. Even had to be driven home from work.
