Hello, I am so sorry that your daughter is going threw this horribly difficult diease. I think because of the diease that she has poor judgement. Keep an eye on her, good communication, understanding and love. It is difficult to understand it all. I was put on a medication that caused suicidal intentions. I almost went that route. My friend slept with me for 2 weeks for emotional support. You need to go to a eye, ear and nose dr. They are the ones to help her. She needs testing. I have vertigo 24 hrs a day. Please stop yelling. Take a deep breath. Blaming and pointing fingers helps no one and nothing... do you want a prize for being right? because that is not what matters.
What matters is your daughter is hurting and as a mother you need to be open, compassionate, and loving unconditionally and no matter what to help her through this time.
Be her advocate and her voice. Help her to find her own place to stand and be herself.
Behaviors are nothing more than communication. She is trying to tell us something that she doesn't know how to say and that we do not understand. Be silent and listen to her.
Do you have any parenting supports? Because if you are not taking care of yourself, there is no way you can care for a difficult child or in difficult situations. Please seek out your own care as well in whatever you feel will be helpful to you.

Discuss the problem(s) with her Doctor .. to make sure he/she knows of the urgency.

I'm so sorry to read what you've been going through with your daughter. I think it might be beneficial for your daughter to be home schooled for a while especially because the bullying is still going on and this can only be detrimental to her emotional health. Is the school aware of the situation and what are they doing to help? I hope the inpatient facility will be able to recommend a professional therapist for her to help her when she comes home. Stay strong for her and let her know she has you in her corner to support her and be there for her. Wish you all the best.

Hi, I hate to hear about your daughter. Although I am not a parent, I have some advice. I am 17 years old, I too tried to commit suicide in February of 2016. I was admitted to an inpatient facility where they found the meds that worked for me. I was released and diagnosed with depression and social anxiety. Believe me, this is as hard on her as you. I was violated by an ex-boyfriend, harassed at school, and had nobody to turn too. I was afraid. My mother pulled me out of school and put me on homeschool. This helped tremendously. I received my licenses and met new friends that suited me better, that cared about me, and helped me. I also found the love of my life whom I am currently married too. The inpatient facility really opened my eyes. I didn't feel so alone anymore. It should really help your daughter to interact with people who have the same or similar diagnoses as her. However, keeping your child in school isn't the best thing for her. And switching her schools will do no good unless its in a completely different state; trust me. I speak of nothing but personal experience. And if she's lashing out at you like I did my mom, don't let it get to you too badly because once she is medicated correctly and learns the coping skills she needs, she will apologize and thank you for everything you did to help her. I will be praying for comfort of your daughter and your family. I know this is a rough time.

I want to thank you all for the comments and suggestions. I am hesitate about online schooling. I can't be there to make sure she does the work. I went to the school, cops, and therapists...but it doesn't seem to really be helping and tbh the school is useless. I am in extreme debt bc of all the care and meds I provide for her. I wasn't trying to yell but stress the importance and frustration I am feeling. I do not want to be right...I don't even know where someone would think like that from my post....I am just looking for suggestions. I do feel alone. I just love my daughter and want her to do well in this crazy crappy life we live in!

PS....It is ok. I also do the same as you....if I desperately want someone to stop and read my post, I use all caps too. (I came to realize others do think we are "yelling" when we do that. I don't know about you, but I occasionally did it because no matter how i tried.....no one listened.)

I would agree with the young woman who was just before you. Many years ago I also wound up briefly in mental health. Hopefully, there they will find the right meds, she will have caring, supportive staff 24/7 and also be around others (some with her problem, others with different ones). For me, it was "safe" while I was in there.....and I also found a new realization that there are many others who struggle with many different issues . Also, before her release, there should be case workers to help you iron out details and future directions to assist you all.
