Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

I think I might be sleeping too much sometimes. It could be depression related or not. Anyways I came home early from work yesterday and slept from noon to four. Went back to bed at 830 woke up at midnight couldn't go back to sleep took a Seroquel at 3 am woke up at 5 am and called out of work. Should I avoid daytime naps? I do physical labor, but I honestly think I would have the same problem if I just stood there all day. There's been times where I have actually blacked out from exhaustion. I know one symptom of oversleeping is having to take day time naps

I invited Bill to have dinner with me last Sunday. He wasn't willing to drive 7 hours to mid Michigan and teased me with his beautiful ribs!!! So, of course I ate alone and had cedar salmon

Hey All...I hope that you have a lovely, peaceful beginning of your weekI have a bunch of chores that need doing but may put them off til tomorrow and just hang out with my landlord/roomie todayWhat about you?...Anything special going on?Have a great day and take good care of you!!..Xo

I do not know what seroquel is for really but if you are randomly using some script drug at 3am instead of on schedule that is not good...
if you have issues with staying asleep it can be the circadian rhythm is off
Medication shouldn't be used like that. It's just a bandaid and often makes it worse.
I don't think you could sleep that many hours in the day and then at night
I take Seroquel as well and 2 hours wouldn't be enough rest for me post Seroquel
Sleeping problems suck
I hope that you can work it out soon
Big hug...xo
