I noticed that other people have started groups for books and movies so I decided to start one based on the HBO series true blood as well the novel series.

the first season is coming out on DVD on May 19 so I'm sure you will be able to rent them if you are interested.
I wonder where this whole resurge of vampire obsession came from though LoL First True Blood.. then those Twilight books / movie.. it's funny cuz people have always had a fascination with the myth of vampires since whoknowswhen but it was always a fear thing.. now there's this sudden thing with sexualizing them. Definitely an interesting turn.
Have to admit I kinda like the show.... haven't read or watched twilight though.. hear nothing but extremely good and extremely bad reviews about the series, so I kinda assume it's probably pretty bad.. any opinions?
I wasn't overly impressed with the first book or movie, but my daughter who is 11 is completely in love with the movie and characters.
True Blood is more my type of show with being adult entertainment.
Vampires have been entertaining for many years. They have appealed to me since I was very young. With reading Stephen Kings Salem's Lot, Watching the original Lost Boys, Reading and then watching Interview with the Vampire...those are just a few.
Appartently, when True Blood first came out on HBO it wasn't a bit hit, but it has now become HBO's biggest show. I know I'm addicted!!
