Chews his tongue or gums alot? And I notice his one paw shakes sometimes? Does anyone know why he might do this?

I wish I knew . Vets do have dental services..it's the Anesthesia that's pricey. I'm a big cat lover so u hv me curious.

Dogs and cats can have OCD too. I would suggest a trip to the vet to see what is going on.

Yea I also just read on th net that some cats do this as a comfort thing or because they were taken tooo soon from their mom

In my opinion, I would think of it as a behavior. Maybe his tongue and gums bother him and he has dental problems? For some reason, I think of uncontrollable seizure automatisms, since I used to have complex partial myself, but I'm probably wrong. If he's entirely unresponsive to you or anything else, that could be something. It's not necessarily a big thing to worry about.

The symptoms/signs he has could be caused by a very broad range of various factors, so there's no telling without the expertise of a vet. In my opinion, I would think of it more as a behavior.

If you have a Vet you can afford, you might have your kitty checked out. It could be neurological, or it could just be a kitty being a kitty.
