Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
I lost my wife last year to cancer...she was only 38 I am 45 we do not have kids, I own my own business we struggle, we were uninsured when she first got cancer, we were able to get insureance later after obama care kicked in, but we were already 10s of thousands in dept
after she passed my life was a series of groundhog day cituations when I did the same thing every day,,, drove to work , mopped the floors, cooked for people placed orders , drove home and cried....
like I said in the beguining, I think about suicide every day,,,but it never added up, it never seemed that was really the solution
then there was this two week time fram that it all made sence, not sure why but it did seem to be that the end of my life would be the best solution.....it was a scary appifany (not sure on spelling) when I was reall almost comfortable with the idea.....but I would like to thank my ability to procrastanate everyting that I did not end up doing it,,,,and like most feelings of suicide...it passes...today , I still cry'
it has been 10 monts since my wife died.
I still have my business , my wife not longer drives in with me to work
but I do feel that I can find some kind of balance and inner happiness
