Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
I gave myi life to christ and I see the world as it is... it is as it always has been mean and cruel.... I am not though.... no longer am i depressed.... I see that I never read the bible untill now.... but always knew it always knew he was there.... family will turn against family.... they turned against me.... no one will listen to an honest mans cry.... no one will hear him weap in agony of wanting to be apart of the famiy.... no one listens to mme at all you hear but only seek to respond not understand.... let's see who understands the one who posts the correct post to listen and not to respond... I will know... i test each of your faith in god... for the end I see it is coming for I uphold honesty my whole life... sexual desries are kept private and to myself never acted upon.... i also don't see violence i don't wait for blood.... i care about other people now they are just there... the end is coming soon I know it... for when i read the bible now it shows me what people do and it is not what god wants....
I don't find the world mean and cruel myself; I find it neutral, if anything. People are kinder than we give credit for. I think when we're not successful we see the world as terrifying and evil. When we forge our own future, and get a little bit of success, we start to see how to live happily in it. And we feel more positive.
I hope things are going okay with the counsellor. Keep going even when you don't like what they say. Sometimes they are right, sometimes you are; but everyone has to keep putting it out there to forge any sort of way forward.

But the good news is that once we accept Him into our lives, we do become a new person. And when we learn to apply: "You must love the LORD your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your strength, and all your mind. And, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself," then we will know the One to help us through difficult circumstances and troubling times we live in. As believers, we experience His love and the hope we have in Him. It’s all we will ever need now and in our everlasting future with Him.

I still have depression.
I am a sex addict also, in fact it got worse after I got saved.
You may want to buckle up because when the pink cloud evaporates your in going to have a crazy ride back down to earth.
Saved and struggling is life, saved and perfect is an opportunity for Satan to tear you away.
